Joe is a mental health and emotional wellness advocate. He has come to this advocacy through his own experiences living with and managing chronic post-traumatic stress and general anxiety disorders. In December 2019, Joe completed a successful 35 year career in management and technology consulting, nearly twenty-five of which at Booz Allen Hamilton where he was an Executive Vice President. He now is an independent consultant, investor, philanthropist, and board member. Starting in the late 2000s, Joe became an advocate for improvements to mental health and emotional wellness awareness and support in corporate America. For his efforts, Joe was honored in 2016 with the DMAX Foundation Leadership Award. Joe holds degrees in engineering from the University of Notre Dame and the University of California, Berkeley, and in public policy from George Washington University.
