Elsie McCart
Director of Programs

For 16 years prior to joining DMAX, Elsie worked with substance use prevention nonprofits to develop and deliver youth programs in Camden, NJ as well as to assist New Jersey schools and communities with policy change and prevention advocacy. She has extensive training in Adverse Childhood Experiences and the associated outcomes. In her role as Director of Programs at DMAX Foundation, Elsie helps young adults establish connections and conversations that diminish the challenges inevitable in transitioning to college and independent adulthood. She graduated from Rutgers-Camden with a degree in Political Science with a focus on news journalism. In addition to her nonprofit work, Elsie is an avid writer and traveler.
